ABOUT ARTIST

Ji Suk Baek (Jessy Baek) was born in 1966 in South Korea. She entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Seoul in 1985 and graduated in 1989. In the same year, she participated in the "Most Talented Young Artists" exhibition. In 2014, she received her master's degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, under the mentorship of prof. Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač. She had her first solo exhibition with thirty portraits of refugee children from Vukovar in the refugee camp in Črnomerac, Croatia. Author of the project, International Art Camp in Croatia 2017, 2018, 2019. She is a member of HDLU.
